The Center for Innovation & Entrepreneurial Leadership in Africa (CILA)was founded in response to the NIBS institutional strategy of “developing innovative businesses and professional leaders who have habits of the mind” and is an inclusive platform for cross-disciplinary research and engagement in the area of innovation and entrepreneurial leadership in Africa.
Innovation and Leadership – is one of the essential components of social and economic practices of modern Africa, which has become a fast growing research area. The focus of the Center for Innovation & Entrepreneurial Leadership in Africa (CILA) is to understand how African organizations are responding to external and internal opportunities to better capture creativity which reflects in the introduction of new ideas, processes and products. Related concerns are how business executives, shift economic resources out of an area of lower to an area of higher productivity and greater yield.
